WHAT:

3rd Annual “Embrace the Chuck” EOD Memorial Charity
There will be a 10K/Bomb Suit Team Relay (4-6 person teams). The event will show support for the EOD Warrior Foundation, as the Charleston EOD flight runs a 10K in a bomb suit. EOD Warriors who are participating will be running this in tandem with the Cooper River Bridge Run. The race begins at 8:00 am on April 1, 2017. EOD stands for Explosive Ordnance Disposal, the military’s bomb disposal teams. Come see some of them run in a bomb suit (no easy feat) and show support for the men and women who perform one of the most dangerous jobs in the military, run towards explosive devices, as everyone else runs away. You can obtain more information and register for the 3rd Annual “Embrace the Chuck” EOD Memorial Charity online, at www.eodwarriorfoundation.org.
