Srinagar, April 26 (Scoop News) – 4 policemen were martyred in a militant ambush in Hygam, Sopore this late afternoon.
Police said cthat Head Constable Abdul Rahim, Ct Mudasir , SPO Gulshan Ahmad and SPO Mudasir Ahmad Parry were martyred in a militant ambush at village Hygam, Sopore. More details to follow.
PDP condemns attack on policemen
Strongly condemning the attack on a police party in Haigam Sopore PDP president Mehbooba Mufti has expressed deep grief at the killing of four police officials. She said this dastardly attack doesnot achieve any thing except resulting in blood shed and devastating four more families.
Mehbooba said PDP always opposes use of violent method for any purpose political or otherwise. She said it seems the government is loosing control over the situation and no body including the police seems safe. She conveyed her condolence and solidarity to families of the slain police officials.
