40000 jobs provided to educated youth during last 3 years :Sakina

 Srinagar, October 30 (Scoop News) – Minister for Social Welfare, Ms. Sakina Itoo Sunday said that the government has taken up several projects for the welfare of people of the state in respect of education, health and other vital sectors of development.

            The Minister was addressing a public meeting at Wadipora Chadoora here today.

            She said that around 40000 jobs were provided to the unemployed educated youth during last three years of coalition government and 205 ICDS centres are functioning for extending nutritional facilities to the deserving children of the state. She said that government is determined to solve the unemployment crisis in a phased manner by providing loans and financial assistance to the unemployed youth for setting up of their income generating units. She said that government is determined to improve the lot of people by extending all basic facilities in length and breadth of the state.

            Lauding the role of Chief Minster, Omar Abdullah in steering the state towards prosperity, Ms. Sakina said that the dynamic guidance has made the state self reliant and the aspirations of people are fulfilled by the government.

            Several senior leaders addressed the meeting.
