Nearly 4,000 people turned up to view the anti-AIDS campaign being carried by the ‘Red Ribbon Express’ at the Secunderabad railway station. The Red Ribbon Express has been designed to promote awareness among the people about AIDS. The goodwill train will cover 180 stations all over India by end-2008. It has already covered 13 states in six months. The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, which was instrumental in designing the train, hoped that it would inform and educate Indians about the deadly disease. Some NGOs are also involved in the campaign. “Next week it will be stationed at Nellore and Renigunta and then travel to Tamil Nadu,” said Mr P. Krishnaiah, SCR chief public relations officer
