Jammu/Srinagar, November 18 (Scoop News) – Forty One candidates are fray for MLC seats in Jammu & Kashmir.
Twenty five candidates are in fray for two seats of MLC from the Panchayat quota of Jammu division.
This was stated by Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Pradeep Gupta, who is also the Returning Officer for Jammu Division.
The scrutiny of the forms was conducted by the Returning Officer yesterday in presence of the contesting candidates.
The last date for withdrawal of forms is Monday, November 19, 2012 upto 3 p.m. In case of necessity, polling will be held on December 03, 2012.
Sixteen candidates are in fray for two seats of MLC from the Panchayat quota of Kashmir division. This was stated by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, who is also the Returning Officer for Kashmir Division.
The scrutiny of the forms was conducted by the Returning Officer today in presence of the contesting candidates.
Present on the occasion was Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan who is also the Assistant Returning Officer, Srinagar.
The last date for withdrawal of forms is on Monday, November 19, 2012 upto 3 p.m. In case of necessity, polling will be held on December 03, 2012.
