Poetry From The Heart
The dirt road…
full of ruts, twists and turns
a place where sun drifts in providing fun.
Limbs dressed-up in beguiling skirts
gusts wiggle and shake leaves onto earth.
The bole stands firm, often bends
determined to tolerate high winds.
It’s like a human’s life…
stays on course regardless of strife.
A tree’s beauty changes during seasons
until its left without life or a reason.
Does beings exist in this same way…
are they tested and tried every day?
Colorful flowers and greeneries prevail…
bestows inspiration and beauty to reveal.
They live but for a short spell…
until they’ll sag and their blooms fail.
The dirt road offers a multitude of nature
reminding human’s life is natural and pure.
The walk is rough and dust forms…
causes existence to grow tired and become transformed.
Paths must be cleared and determination strong
if not, life will become broken and all will go wrong.
Hit dirt roads with one thought in mind…
keep grit off shoes and try to be refined.
