According to the PAFFREL (People’s Action For Free And Fair Elections)Organization the overall voter turnout of today’s Local Government Elections was 55-60 percent.The voting for electing 3022 Local Government Representatives for 234 Government Bodies was concluded at 4 p.m today.
According to the Elections Secretariat The voting in majority of the poll stations had been peaceful except of few minor incidents of violence .
