Jammu, July 3 (Scoop News) – In a tragic road accident six pilgrims of Shri Amar Nathi Ji were killed and two others injured when the tier of the Qualise vehicle all of sudden ruptured and it rolled down about 400 feet into the Bishlari Nallah near Ramsoo of district Ramban in Jammu division this afternoon.
Police said that he ill fated vehicle bearing registration No. HR55D/4665 was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu when the mishap occurred.
According to police,soon after the accident, Police rushed on the spot and started rescue operation. The occupants of the vehicle have been extricated and shifted to hospital. Four persons died in the instant where as two others succumbed their injuries while being shifted to hospital.
The deceased have been identified Naval Chander s/o Chint Ram r/o Bhallian Nekodhar Sudesh Kumar s/o Sohan Lal , Bopinder Singh, Arun Kumar s/o Shanti Saroop, Tilak Raj s/o Kripal Dass and Jagdish Raj s/o Darshan Lal all residents of Jallandhar. Bodies have been kept in PHC Ramsoo for legal foramlties. However , the injured namely Ashwani Kumar s/o Darshan Lal and driver of the vheilce Kuldeep Raj both residents of Nikdhan Punjab have been shifted to Banihal hospital after giving the first aid at Ramsoo hospital.
