6 die, 15 injured in road mishaps in Kashmir

 

Srinagar, March 10 (Scoop News) –  Six persons died and fifteen others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

Poliice said that aWinger bearing registration number JK05B/6799 coming from Jammu to Srinagar, collided with a Traller bearing registration number PB02BE/9899 on way from Anantnag to Qazigund near Sesman Damgan, Kulgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Qazigund, resulting in on the spot death of four passengers. Mohammad Shemshair son of Mohammad Nabi, Mohammad Akhter son of Mohammad Alif, Mohammad Mushtaq son of Noor Mohammad residents of Madupur Bihar and Imran Khan son of Hakim Khan resident of Dhar Road Udhampur were among the dead. Eleven other passengers who were travelling in the Winger received injuries in the accident were shifted to Srinagar for treatment. Among the injured Qaleem son of Sulaiman and Tajamul Alam son of Mohammad Habib residents of Madupur Bihar also succumbed to their injuries taking the toll to six in the accident.

A Swift Car bearing registration number JK04B/3394 hit and injured a pedestrian Idrees Ahmad Dar son of Ali Mohammad resident of Hamdania Colony, Bemina at Parraypora Baghat, Srinagar falling under the jurisdiction of police station Sadder. The injured has been hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.

          A Santro Car bearing registration number JK13B/6181 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Gani age 50 years son of Mohammad Subhan resident of Bonapora Sehpora at Sehpora, Kulgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Kulgam. The injured has been hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.

          A Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK18/1597 hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Ashraf Shan age 40 years son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Nowpora at Nowpora Crossing, Kulgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Qazigund. The injured was shifted to Bone & Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

          A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK09/1570 on way from Sopore to Handwara skipped on the National Highway near Wahipora, Handwara, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Handwara, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Abdul Amin Dar age 21 years son of Mohammad Amin resident of Haran Chogal. The injured was hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.

          A Tata Magic bearing registration number JK03C/2288 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A/5469 at Janglat Mandi Crossing, Anantnag, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag, resulting in injures to Motorcyclist Adil Amin Bhat son of Mohammad Amin and pillion Bilal Ahmad Bhat age 30 years son of Abdul Rashid residents of Bon Dialgam. Both the injured were shifted to district hospital Anantnag for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
