Uniformed officers and local service organizations will gather at Christian Health Care Center in Lynden, WA on September 11th to participate in the 6th Annual Heroes Day event.
“Heroes Day is a time set aside to remember the sacrifices made by many first responders on September 11, 2001, and to celebrate local heroes who protect and serve us every day,” shares Catherine Reis-El Bara, CHCC administrator.
Event attendees will be able to tour emergency response vehicles, watch demonstrations and talk with police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, border patrol agents, and more. Local dignitaries will be on hand for brief comments and to lead a moment of silence to remember fallen responders.
“Christian Health Care Center is thrilled to host this multi-generational family event each year – we welcome people of all ages to stop by to meet and greet our community helpers.”
The free community event takes place at 855 Aaron Drive in Lynden, WA on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 10 am – 11:30 am. Groups of more than 10 people are encouraged to RSVP by calling 360-354-4434. Visit www.chcclynden.org to learn more.
