Ayun Football Club clinched Football winner trophy.
CHITRAL: Ayun Football Club defeated Afghan Football team with 4 penalty kick than zero one in 6th Jishni Nojawanan football Tournament 2008 at Col Murad Memorial Stadium Drosh. NWFP Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan was chief guest on the occasion who distributed trophy and cup among the best players. Some 42 football teams and 60 Cricket teams participated in the match. Both of the teams could not score any goal upto last time. Hence the Jury committee decided to give them opportunity of penalty kick. As a result Ayun Football club scored 4 penalty kick and declared the winner team. Hence Afghan football team could not score any goal or penalty kick. 6th Youth Festival tournament 2008 was organized by Nojawan Sports and welfare Society Drosh.
Haji Haider Raza General Secretary of PPP Tehsil Drosh presented his welcome address and demanded for establishment of a Degree college for the students of Drosh and Arandu area. He also demanded for up-gradation of government girls high school. He also demanded for a School bus for Girls high school and up-gradation of middle school Drosh for boys in high school. He also demanded for provision of potable drinking water to inhabitants of the area. He also demanded for establishment of a public stadium at Drosh.
Addressing to the ceremony Provincial Minister Saleem Khan said that the country is passing under sever crises of law and order situation and in the grip of terrorism. He said that some foreign hands are involved in deteriorating peaceful environment of the country. He appeal to the public to must be united against any infiltration of terrorism. He announced of rupees 20000 for organizing committee, 5000 for runner up tam and 5000 for winner up tam and 5000 for school children who presented warm welcome to provincial Minister. He said that youth are registering with police officer and you must to be register your name with District Police Officer. Samiullah was declared man of the match while Sajjad Ahmad was declared man of the tournament. Besides other Sajjad Ahmad Khan president District Football Association and a large number of people belonging to all walk of life.
