Jammu, January 29, (Scoop News)-The Returning Officer for Biennial Election to the Council of States today issued the list of validly nominated candidates after the scrutiny of their nomination papers. The candidates in fray for the 4 Rajya Sabah seats include Mir Mohammad Fayaz (PDP), Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo (NC), Shamsher Singh (BJP), Nasir Aslam Wani (NC), Nazir Ahmad Laway (PDP), Chander Mohan Sharma (BJP) and Ghulam Nabi Azad (INC).
The last date for withdrawal of candidature has been fixed on 31st January before 3 p.m and the elections for these 4 Rajya Sabah seats is scheduled to be held on February 7, 2015.
