7 soldiers died under avalanches

7 died 3 injured under avalanches 6 dead body could not shifted to their native towns.
CHITRAL: As well as 7 persons died while 3 injured when a heavy avalanche hit residential room of Chitral Scouts (paramilitary civil forces  of Chitral.). 7 person were recovered live from the avalanche. 6 dead bodies could not shifted to their native town due to  bad weather and continue snowfall. According to detail heavy glacier hit room of Chitral Scouts at Ziarat village near the edge of Lawari rail tunnel on at 11.00 PM (night time) on Monday. As a result some 14 people were covered by snowfall and under the roof when heavy avalanche broken the roof of the room. Due to media jam and no communication headquarters Chitral scouts could not informed timely. Hence they were informed by local police on Wireless set on Tuesday. As all the roads were blocked due to heavy snowfall and there was no vehicle traffic hence cops of Chitral Scouts, local people of Ashriat, members of Driver union including their president Mumtaz Ali jan and vice president Nasrullah also participated in rescue activates.

They reached their after traveling by feet for 6 hours they reached their and recovered 7 people live. Hence 7 people were died under the avalanche they were identified as Havaldar Zaffar Ali Shah resident of Torkoh, Naik Mirza Gul of Priet, Sepahi Muhsin Ali of Charoon, Havaldar Nayab Gul of Kosht, Naik Mukhtar Ahmad of Koghuzi, Sepahi Mehrabuddin of Garamchishma and Syed Ashraf Shah cook of Torkoh.

Those who were recovered from the avalanche live were Subadar Muhammad Zahid,  of Chitral, Naik Muhammad Aman of Kosht, Naik Salahuddi of Kosht, Lance Naik Shamsur Rehman of Torkoh, Lance Naik Ihsanullah of Kosht, Sepahi Shah Gosh Hussain of Mastuj, Sepahi Haji Rahmat of Priat, Sepahi Noor Muhammad of Drosh and Sepahi Hazrat Muhammad of Ashriat hence there were serious injured they were known as Safeerullah of Khurkushandeh, Noor Muhammad  of Drosh and Rahmat Nizar of Mozhgoal Mulkoh.

Hearing the news of this tragic incidence Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan reached on the spot and started rescue activities and opened road for vehicle traffic by bulldozer. As well as he also rushed the injured persons to Chitral Hospital in Ambulance of Drosh hospital. Hence only no dead body was shifted to his native town and other 6 dead bodies were carried  from Ziarat due to bad weather and continue rain and heavy snowfall. Besides it there is heavy snowfall on Wednesday and paramilitary forces of Chitral Scouts taking riks of thier livese succeeded to carry these dead bodies from Ziarat (mountainous valley). All the dead bodies were rushed to Headquarteres Chitral Scouts Chitral in a convey supervising by Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan and would be shifted to their native town in a Helicopter at upper Chitral due to blockage of roads and land sliding Chitral scouts spokesman told.   As well as there is no electricity in the district, markets are close due to heavy snowfall, life have been paralyzed. Communication system have been badly decompounded and suspended. Sartaj Ahmad Khan Tehsil Nazim Chitral have appeals to federal government for compensating the bereaved families of deceased people at least upto 500000 per head.
