On the high way road from Dhaka to Mymensing, a truck loaded with buffaloes was attacked by two Jamayat by throwing a petrol bomb indicating the truck. Due to this incident the driver was killed and police arrested eight Jamayats including their leaders. Police arrested 77 criminals related to this incident and filed a case against them.
The local people said, while the strike was going on Saturday, 3 cow-dealer bought 17 cows and loaded on that truck and started journey on that particular night from Tangail to Norshingdi. When the truck reached the high way road of Dhaka to Tangail the supports of strike threw 3 petrol bombs targeted to the truck. For this reason, the driver lost his control and the truck fell down beside the road and got in flame.
The name of the driver was Nurujjaman and his paternal uncle Moffajjol Miyah was his helper. Both were burnt. Shamsul Haque, Dulal, and the 3 cow-dealers who were behind the truck at that time were badly hurt. The local people came forward and admitted them to different hospitals. The driver and the helper were admitted in the emergency Burnt Unit in Dhaka Medical College Hospital. On the next morning, Sunday, the driver died.
In this incident, police arrested the Jamayat Amir, Shoffiuddin, leader Shahidur Rahman and the rest eight.
