8 VITS Students Selected For ‘Pratibha Awards’

Proddatur (GR-TYP-BIN): Eight students of Vaagdevi Institute of Technology and Science (VITS) were selected for the most prestigious Pratibha Award.

VITS Principal Dr. N Kumara Swamy said on April 6, that eight students from VITS are going to receive this award. He said that eight students are from VITS out of the 50 selected students from various engineering colleges under JNT University – Ananthapur.

J Swetha (EEE), V Mounika (ECE), K Kalyani (CSE), Y Venkata Sivakrishna Reddy (MBA), D Bharati (MBA), M Chandana Priya (MCA), S Lakshmi Devi (MCA) and P Varadarajulu (MCA) were selected for the award.

Congratulating the students on their selection for the prestigious award, the Principal said that they made VITS stand first at university level in the state by securing eight awards. He emphasized that a medley of hard work, honesty, sacrifice and service promoted them to securing this meritorious award.

VITS Correspondent Mr. G Hussain Reddy said that discipline and commitment to values in the educational system have facilitated our students achieving these awards.

State Government has introduced this Pratibha Award Scheme to promote quality and excellence in the field of education.
