8-yr-old sits for Class X exams

An eight-year-old girl Naina, from Hyderabad created a record by becoming the youngest in Asia to appear for class X examination conducted by the prestigious International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). The exams began on May 12 throughout the world. Nearly seven crore students appeared for the exams in 162 countries.  Naina is a student of Sri International School in Himayathnagar and is presently taking the exams.  She is supposed to be in class V. But looking at her extraordinary capabilities, IGCSE has permitted her to write Class X exams.
