Poetry From The Heart
Today I bring you words from the heart;
they’ve been brewing within wanting to depart.
Verses offering minutes for rest and peace
from poets who live near and far out of reach.
Poetries of people who have ideas to tell,
hoping it will touch others for a short spell.
Couplets and triplets steeped in the mind,
days of old and those of present time.
Each stanza differs from all the rest,
stuck in a poem to read and to suggest.
No two poetries are ever one in the same;
they’re scribbled by many to keep them sane.
Rhyme’s of beauty, health, life and other things too,
provided to educate the world about topics they know.
Lyrics written in earnest offerings of thoughts and views,
suggestions to reform, offers to benefit, and sights of hue.
Every line composed to enrich the heart and soul
to soothe the mind and those secrets left and untold.
Poets express their loves, tragedies, happiness’s and joys
striving not to offer ideas to cause fluster and to annoy.
Poesies’ spoken to release pain of yesterday’s stress,
causing other people to read and find a reason to rest.
Bards are what they are and they’re happy to deliver,
versions written from one person and given to another.
