A Blessing Of Peace

Poetry From The Heart

I seek God in the silence of my room.
I’ve come to search for His presence
knowing He rewards those calling out His name
believe He is Lord and Savior of all.

Help me Lord to build an unyielding foundation
in quest of directions in all that I do.
I want to establish my covenant with You
seal the faith I have in Your word.

Allow me to follow Your will with enthusiasm
know it’s my surest path to eternal peace.
Your word promised to bless those
requesting Your words through faith.

Grant me the ability to reach out to others
offering them Your way to righteousness.
Permit me to do this without recognition
through the will of Your Holy Spirit.

Lead me through paths of unrighteousness
allow my words to flow through hearts
of those who’re looking for peace and contentment
with a will to find direction in their lives.
