OMAHA: A gunman opened fire inside a mall in the US state of Nebraska Wednesday, leaving as many as five people injured, according to store employees and managers who were inside during the attack.Police arrested one person and may be looking for a second, according to workers locked inside the Westroads Mall in Omaha, which police closed.
One of the victims may be seriously injured during the shooting, which took place in the mall’s Von Maur department store during the busy Christmas shopping season, mall workers said. Television images showed paramedics taking a person on a stretcher into an ambulance outside the mall.
