Parents regardless the number of children in the home, don’t forget to express and show love to each child because they’re craving to know you love and care for them. It doesn’t take a lot of time, a smile, a big hug, a kind word, and praise for a job well-done or a planted kiss on a cheek. Show love because it builds a foundation in a child’s life.
Poetry from the Heart…
God sent an angel to wipe away tears
stroke her hair and nurse endless fears.
A nervous child senses a loss without love
desires a pat on the head and a big hug.
Too many siblings to get proper care
lack of nurturing and devotion don’t seem fair.
God sent an angel to caress a small hand
guide her daily throughout an awkward land.
A gingham dress begs for a replacement to adorn
a pair of patent leathers to wear and get worn.
She’d like a smile in her eyes and on frowned lips
to grant her happiness to enjoy a hop and skip.
God sent an angel to caress sobbing in the night
directing an angel to brighten the room with light.
This precious child is held in God’s hands
gives her love and attention He’d planned.
God sent an angel to wipe away her tears
stroking her hair to eliminate all her fears.
A little hand reaches out to find love…
