A Renewal Brings A New Life

The long hard winter’s over
life expectancy is improving
dreary days gone as the sun shines
lighting up earth for a renewal.
Happiness clears the depressed
allows joy to enter the soul.

Buds explode from tree branches
tiny heads push through the soil
dead grass replaced by lush
Robins curtsy in fields
red birds exhibit amazing color
mocking birds mock in the distance.

Days are longer and brighter
bushes grow summer skirts
children ride bikes, skateboards and skates
the world is alive and full of activities
every eye is on revivals of new moments
a nest built in a naked tree trunk.

Air bursts with pollen from fresh growth
newness surrounds the entire area
brings an innovative existence to earth
like a new born begotten into the world
a pristine season exhibits growth
welcoming another day, another time.

Psalm 90: 4 “For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.”
