A Scornful Piece of a Journalist

Malu Fernandez is a print media personality of a not so popular daily newspaper and a feature magazine that caters to the upper echelon of society in the selected place of the Philippines. According to the reports and radio commentaries, this journalist who acts like a neo-Aryan tribe of hate and contempt shamelessly displayed her arrogance and disrespect to the Overseas Filipino Workers by labeling them as a bunch of lowly citizens who deserves unwanted attention because they are irritable to her sense of moral discernment. Ms. Fernandez – motivated by her egotism and considers herself as superior to other human being –indiscriminately wrote an article that harshly criticized, defamed and poorly described all the Overseas Filipino Workers as nothing but a part of dirty linen that should be stacked in a hamper so as to prevent its odorous smell from fouling the air. But then, it is unfortunate that in this world of ours people like Malu Fernandez keeps on creating atrocities and discriminations through their selfish and evil desire to rule over their fellow men. What a pen of idea can wreck havoc to all the migrant workers who suffered enough just to earn a living abroad.
