Poetry From The Heart
Hummingbirds chant familiar tunes
butterflies fix on shoulders of wings
angels touch their segments
blending magnificent colors
lavender scents drift in the air
warmth encompasses bodies.
Lips meet into passions
arms embrace, hands stroke hair
eyes meet to grip gazes
lavender stems tickle legs
hungers and longings furies
lovers meet amid nature and creatures.
Love mesmerizes time
as it’s swallowed by gusts of wind
memories captured inward to endure
amid a heart and soul of anticipations.
Love bursting with strength and power
a will of aspirations to embrace as one.
A secret meeting place
full of expectations to unite
midst God’s natural gifts to life
freedom of privileges to love and relate
listening to hummingbird melodies
love weaves a web of silence and mystery.
