As many Kenyans wait in anticipation as the Kenya Army goes to war in Somalia to eradicate the Al Shabaab militia, many people are left in tension. Though businesses continue to work normally in many major cities in the country, still people are on the look.
Local bars and restaurants have now tightened their security after grenade attacks in a bar in Nairobi occurred. After the Al Shabaab people threatened to attack Kenya in its very heart, Nairobi and other major cities, security has been beefed up in such areas.
In addition, the Kenya police and army have beefed up internal security by close monitoring of the Kenyan border plus constantly responding to bomb threats in advance. In the dawn of today, people from Meru, Kenya were dazzled by how the Kenya police managed to recover grenades and arrest some people in that region.
As the war continues, all Kenyans are asked to be on the look for fishy events and report as soon as possible so as to win on the war against the Al Shabaab militia.
