Bangalore, Nov 27, 2013: Breakthrough will be organizing a unique Outbound Experiential learning program for differently abled children on December 2nd, 2013, the eve of World disability day. Breakthrough, is a leading Outbound training service provider with a mission to impact lives in corporates, colleges, and schools. This program to be organized for differently abled children, is designed to impact their lives based on the theme by the UN for World Disability Day, “Breaking barriers, Open Doors: for an inclusive society and development for all”.
Differently abled children who are supported by four NGOs, U&I, Rakkam, Provision and Asha Kiran will be participating in the event. The guest of honor for the day will be Indar, a champion who has worked through his disability, of being Spastic, to have a job supporting him and his family.
During the program, powerful experiences will be created, through Action-learning methodologies by simulating real-life behavior using challenges and activities. The responses of the children in such situations will then be analyzed using interactive debriefs to help them identify learnings that they can apply in their life.
