New Delhi, Oct 3: Just a week after Krishna and Rajkumar were given bail in Noida double murder case, reports suggest that they have escaped to Nepal. This has raised serious questions about the Court’s credibility and the fate of the case. Will then Aarushi get justice? Will the culprit ever be imprisoned? These questions have no answers as their disappearance indicates that they cannot be present for further interrogation.
However Rajkumar’s lawyer Naresh Yadav just puts it simply, "Rajkumar’s parents are in Nepal. Moreover, Krishna’s family also hails from Nepal. So they have gone there." Krishna and Rajkumar are prime accused in the murder of Aarushi and her domestic help Hemraj on the fateful night of May 15-16. Yadav said both of them have left for Nepal about a week ago and their leaving India would not hamper any probe, as they would always be available for investigation.
"The CBI has their addresses in Nepal. It is a big agency and whenever they need them, they can contact both. In case they are not able to, they can ask me and I will bring them here," he said.
The double murder caught the attention of the nation following the arrest of Aarushi’s father Rajesh Talwar by police for the crime. However he was later released, as the CBI has not found any evidence against him.
The CBI arrested Rajkumar and Krishna terming them as prime accused. But CBI could not file charge sheet within the stipulated time due to lack of evidence. The delay in filing the charge sheet has enabled both the accused to get bail on September 12.
