Abandon all hope ye who enter here

From demons to fallen angels, folk monsters to possession and exorcism, Satanic pacts to black masses the book: “The complete book of devils and demons” by Dr. Ashley covers it all in extraordinary detail. So much so that I wonder if it doesn’t cross the line between just informing people to actually instructing people in the dark arts of Satanism.

Every once in a while, I read stuff that really disturbs me. Disturbs me down to the very core of my eternal soul.

Such was the case recently when I read the book: “The complete book of devils and demons” by Dr. Leonard R.N. Ashley – a highly respected scholar and professor emeritus at the world famous Brooklyn College in New York.

Please don’t get me wrong. Dr. Ashley is absolutely brilliant in his approach on this subject of demonology, its just that some of his research touches on certain “rites” particular to satanism that date back hundreds of years – all conveniently collected together in one handy reference guide with his name on it.

Which is unprecedented.  I know of no other book, for example that has such a diverse and dangerous collection of spells, incantations and invocations on earth.

I mean, you have here rites for everything from invoking demonic entities to the Devil himself.

Including one article dealing with all the formalities and particulars involved in “how to make a pact with the Devil” – taken from an obscure text written in 1435 called the “Formicarius” by  by Johannes Nider .

A book I believe to be demonically inspired, but that is another topic all together.

See article: Formicarius http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formicarius

Dr. Ashley also includes “nuisances” like “how to sign your pact with blood” – an act that would definitely seal your fate forever!

Were talking some really dangerous stuff here.

This is the kind of stuff, spiritually speaking, that if you mess with you could literally damn your soul to hell for eternity.

It makes me worry about what happens when  a mixed up crazy kid armed with a library card,  gets a hold of this book and starts opening up “spiritual doorways” which are better of close – if you know what I mean?
