A woman has acquired new accent after brain stroke. Rosemary Dore suffered a brain stroke in her left half of her brain about two years ago.In this stroke the part associated with speech damaged.She lives in Windsor,370km from Toranto
After the stroke she started speaking East coast Canadian accent,but she never lived their, source July issue of Canadian Journal of neurological sciences.
This type of phenomenon termed as Foreign Accent Disorder or FAS,reasercher from McMaster University mentioned. They analyzed the speech of Rosemary.
According to them Foreign Accent Syndrome(FAS) develop due to vocal distortion.
