An accomplished and resourceful actor from South Korea with several starring roles in Asian productions, LA-based actor Yohan Lee demonstrates his command over his craft in the film With Love to this Crazy World.
Raised in Seoul, South Korea until the age of 15, Lee found his passion for acting at a young age. Having starred in the films Comfort Girls, A Phone Call and Road to Utah, this handsome young actor has already made quite a mark in the Asian film industry, both abroad and locally.
In the film With Love to This Crazy World, Lee plays the starring role of Jacob, an average Joe businessman soon to wed his lovely fiancé, Yvonne, who is also carrying his child. With Love to this Crazy World gives a whole new meaning to the brevity of life and the mantra of ‘seizing the moment’. The film’s climax comes when, while returning from a business trip in Saudi Arabia to the States, terrorists take control of the airplane to rob its passengers while Jacob pleads with the terrorists to spare him. He begs the terrorists to spare his life so he can return safely home in order to marry his fiancé and meet his future child. They instead heartlessly decide to shoot him in order to make an example of him to the other hostages aboard the plane.
Lee is phenomenal in the role, which showcases his talent and his ability to embody a diverse range of emotions while also demonstrating his ease under extreme situations as his character develops throughout the film.
A Kazu Productions film, With Love to this Crazy World is directed by Yoshikazu Okana. In the film, Yohan Lee stars alongside TJ Kayama who is known for his work in the films Blue Gardens, Blue Tide and The 8th Samurai, as well as the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Derrel Maury whose credits include The Visitation, Jen in Session and Wasteland.
