Sub-Inspector Abdul Rehman of Armed Police Hqrs. J&K retired after attaining age of superannuation and was accorded a warm farewell by the senior officers, staff members of APHQ in an impressive function presided over by K. Rajendra IPS ADGP Armed/Law & Order J&K at APHQ J&K Jammu.
ADGP highly appreciated role played by SI Rehman during his entire service and desired that his service career should be role model for all the police officials. ADGP also issued on spot instructions to concerned officers for expeditious settlement of his all pension benefits and asked SI that he should continue to feel himself member of J&K Police Parivar (family) and should never hesitate in approaching authorities for any kind of help to render him.
K. Rajendra presented a cheque amounting Rs.35,000/- to SI Rehman as a retirement gift as applicable under J&K Police Welfare Fund (Amendment) Rules 2010 for its employees and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life. A gift was also presented to the retiring SI by the ADGP on behalf of all the officers and officials on the occasion. It may be recalled that police had created a welfare scheme to take care of police personals during and after their retirement for their welfare and wellbeing.
