ADVANI, THE ONCE MOST POWERFUL LEADER OF BJP IS NOW PERHAPS WEAKEST

ADVANI’s FALL FROM POWER TO POWERLESS

Lal Krishan Advani, The Rath Yatra Man, Head of Party was once used to be the Star Campaigner of the party, and the only real speaker and leader of the Bhartiya Janta Party, leading to formation of First ever BJP Government in India.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was sworn in as The Prime Minister of India, and Mr. Advani occupied the second most powerful office, The Office of The Home Minister of India.

Initially, A.B.Vajpayee was considered a soft, weak, not able to take a firm and strong stand on any issue. He was considered just as the mask of BJP; and the real power driving the country from behind the curtain was Lal Krishan Advani.

This thinking and the mental set up was not only that of the common man, but Advani and other party’s senior leaders were also of the same view.

They all considered it good b’cos all Ministers were free to run their offices the way they want due to non-interference by the so called weak Prime Minister.

Shortly the scenario started changing. Prime Minister was not soft but prooved himself as firm and unshakable on important issues. While taking sensitive and decisions of utmost importance, he listened to all but will do what he himself think was right. He hardly paid any heed to Advani also.

At the same time Advani was being considered communal because of Babri Masjid demolition case and anti muslim and anti-minorities utterings, views and speeches. Advani graph, in the minds of common man as well as party leaders started to fall; and, simultaneously that of Vajpayee started to rise.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a bachelor and remained so as well as he was a mature, firm and well experienced leader. He prooved himself, while Advani Sahib was shedding tears during the Kandhar Air India Hijack time. Later, he said that he knew nothing about this hijack!

Wao! The Home Minister of Demcratic Nation, India, was unaware of such a world shaking terrorist act. In reality, it was Advani himself who gave millions of Rupees alonside facilitating the handing over of Terrorist Leaders. This was opposed by most Indians as well as The Powerful Indian Military devoted to end the terror from J & K, loosing their lives almost everyday.

The terrorists freed were murderers of countless innocent common and security persons, was were captured after years of armed struggle loosing countless security personnel.

The result of next and presently held  elections was crystal clear mandate of people against the BJP in general and Mr. Advani (once called Iron man of India) in particular; thus paving the way for the formation of Conress Government twice, and which in the eyes of general voters is doing much better than the BJP.

Politicians should learn many lessons from all this, otherwise they will perish like BJP has already started to disintegrate.
