Benazir University Campus would be open at Chitral. Aasma Alamgir.
CHITRAL: Advisor to Prime Minister and Provincial President of PPP women wing Aasma Alamgir announced establishing of Benazir Bhutto University Campus both in Chitral and Dir district. She was addressing to party workers at different places during her two days visit to Chitral. She also visited flood affected area of Ochosht where 13 people died and 25 houses damaged. She announced rupees 100000 for the bereaved family of deceased persons, 50000 for injured persons, 100000 for totally damaged house, 50000 for partially damaged house and 200000 for re-construction of Masjid (Mosque) from Pakistan Baitul Mall and assured that president and Prime Minister relief fund is separate from this one. She setting on the ground wit flood affected women to express her solidarity and sympathy with them and offered Fatiha for the soul of deceased person. Provincial Minister for Population welfare Saleem Khan and DCO Chitral Rahmatullah Wazier were also present on the occasion. Advisor to Prime Minister on SAFRON Aasma Alamgir also visited PPP Women wing office at Mustajapandeh and discussed different matters with Mrs Falak Naz district president of PPP women wing. She addressed to a large number of women folk and assured them for solving their problems and supporting them by PPP led government.
Asma Alamgir also visited Benazir House at Joghor and meet senior vice president Begum Suleman and addressed to the gathering of women at her residence. She also announced Miss Anisa Rehman daughter of Abdul Rehman president women wing of Union Council Ayun during her visit the residence of Abdul Rehman a senior party worker of Ayun. Asma Alamgir visited Bumborate village of Kalash valley where a large number of Kalash women presented her warm welcome and showered flowers on her and presented her traditional gift. Kalash women also performed traditional and folk dance in honor of the chief guest. Addressing on the occasion she announced establishment of a women community cum handicraft center and a girls middle and high school for girls students of Bumborate. Kalsh women would also be benefited from BISP Aasma assured. She also announced 10000 cash for kalash women who came their and participated in traditional dance. She said that these issues would be discussed with Minority Minister Shahbaz Bhatti and he will be announced of different developmental packages for Kalash community. She said that PPP respect of minorities and always raise voice for their rights.
Addressing a press conference she said that the purpose of my visit to Chitral is to reconciliation and unit the party workers and to strengthen women wing of the party. She said that we also support flood affected people financially and would plan for their rehabilitation. She said that unemployment ratio is on high level at Chitral especially in the women folk and we will consent special quota for jobs at different departments for women folk she announced. She said our country facing terrorism, tense situation and other problems but even than PPP led government will try fully to redress people problems. Talking about discrimination and injustice in distributing of Benazor Income Support Program (BISP) Cards she said that we will send a team to visit door to door and they will nominate deserving people especially women for financial support. She announced that number of border police force would be increased to provide job opportunities to inhabitants of remote and backwards areas living on borders. She said that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani will announced Chitral package a net work of different developmental schemes. Responding to a question she said that some 1 billion fund have been allocated for the completion of Lawari tunnel and ongoing project will be continue as in past. She also announced that a football ground would established here for the players. She said that at first times provinces were empowered and they were given NFC award. She also announced 50000 for Press Club Chitral and MPA from Dir Anwar Khan increased the amount to 100000. She said that Booni to Shundor road would be completed in this government.
Benazir Bhutto Memorial Football tournament 2010 ended.
Benazir Bhutto Memorial Football tournament 2010 concluded at football ground of Chitral Scouts. Advisor to Prime Minister Aasma Alamgir was chief guest on the occasion. Some 56 football teams participated in the tournament. In final match Goaldoor football teams defeated Mughulandeh team with 1 goal while the runner up team could not score any goal. Aasma Alamgir announced rupees 80000 for organizing committee and 10000 for each runner up and winner team and 10000 for band party of Chitral Scouts. At last she distributed trophy and cup among the winner and runner up teams.
A large number of spectators were present on the occasion. Earlier that Provincial Minister for Population welfare Saleem Khan also announced 20000 for organizing committee and 5000 for each teams.
