Afghan Refugee abducted from Drosh.
CHITRAL: An other Afghan citizen kidnapped from Dhab village of Tehsil Drosh some 45 KM from here Drosh police told this scribe. According to police station Drosh Haji Muzaffar Khan an Afghan refugee was shifted from Afghanistan to Pakistan and was living in a rented house at Dhab village. Some unknown armed persons abducted him during midnight of Sunday and Monday. Local people in neighbors of abducted Afghan refugee Haji Muzaffar alleged that he was kidnapped by extremists of Afghanistan hence District Police Officer Chitral Sher Akbar Khan denied the allegations and termed it their family grudges and mutual tussles. DPO Chitral while talking to this scribe disclosed that Haji Muzaffar was shifted to Drosh some one month ago and was residing in a rented house. He was abducted by some tribes of Nooristan (Afghanistan) on account of some personal and family disputes and tussles DPO added. There is no chance of entering of extremists in Chitral he said. Police Station Drosh has started investigations will be lodged proper FIR after completing of inquiry and lawful. It is worth to mention here that this is the second case of abducting (kidnapping) of Afghan citizen from Drosh area. Earlier that one Afghan citizen Akhtar Jan Kohistani who was serving in Afghanistan as consultant for Ministry of rural development and rehabilitation as well as having nationality of United Kingdom and served in BBC Pushto service. He was in the house of his in laws while some unknown masked and armed persons kidnapped him.
