Afghan refugees face poverty in Pakistan

 

“My father is jobless, he has no sheep, he is always at home, I am not going to school,” young Afghan refugee child Muhabat has said.

“Me and Qasim both go to school, my father has lot of sheep, he buy and sell sheep,” young Afghan refugee child Izhar Alam has said.

“Since last fifteen days these young Afghan boys are quite aggressive and restless, they are residing in mud houses built in Paracha Town, refugee boy Qasim is lame, his one leg is probably affected with polio, he snatches money from young children of local residents, knock doors of the houses demands fruit of home grown fruit trees, and ice of refrigerator, along with flock of many other Afghan refugee children, if his demand is not accepted he along with other children start pelting stones on the gate of my residence during the afternoon these young Afghan refugee children peep into windows of my room if  the windows are left open,” a resident of Paracha Town has said.
