Afghanistan’s President Karzai Becomes a Father

President Karzai in Afghanistan became a father for the first time on Thursday, January 25th.  Karzai’s wife, Zeenat is a doctor who worked with Afghan refugees in Pakistan.  Hamid Karzai and Zeenat got married in 1999.  Zeenat gave birth to a son, Mirwais, in Rabia Balkhi Hospital in downtown Kabul.
