Africa Reggae magaster Lucky Dube is killed:
Africans mourns. Kenyans mourns. The cruel hand of death has robbed us yet again of another entertainment icon. Reggae magaster Lucky Dube who was short dead in hijacking last week on Thursday in Rosettenville, Johannesburg, South Africa, The Independence online reported.
"Luck Dube death came at around 8:30pm when he was driving a blue polo in the Johannesburg suburb" said the report.
According to the BBC World Service and The Independence online story reported that the Rastafarian singer was dropping of his son in the area when he was attacked.
"His son was already of the car when he saw what happen, he ran to ask for help" The Independence online said.
Lucky Dube, who said was inspired by the late Peter Tosh, last performed in Jamaica at the cricket World Cup opening ceremony at the Trelarong Multi-purpose stadium. Lucky Dube was born in South Africa on Agust 3, 1964.

The late Lucky Dube was a positive icon to the youth, and a revolutionary in the moment when the South Africa was under the cruel hands of apartheid regime. He spoke and sung to end the apartheid regime in the Southern Africa.
He was an entertaining ambassador whose music across barriers. His colleagues will miss him. His fans across the globe including Africa, South Africa and Kenya will miss him dearly. But his music and spirit will live on.
May God reward his deeds, spirits and heart, and rest his soul in peace…
