AIG and US airways

After US airways flight 1549 went into the Hudson River the airways insurer AIG is now disputing claims of loss of personal property from the people on the plane as well as injuries. After the indicent occured the passagners on the plane were issued a 5,000 check each so this may be why AIG is now disputing having to pay for anything. A spoke person said it may take months before the issues are fully resolved.
