AIRPGF demands action against corrupt

Jammu and Kashmir: All India Rahul and Prianka Gandhi Foundation (AIRPGF), Jammu and Kashmir leaders have expressed serious concern over the corrupt practices going on in various government departments despite chief minister’s pledge for corruption Free State in the year 2011.

In a meeting of its office bearers, Vice President Yashpal Manhas questioned as to how multi story malls and buildings had been erected at Bakshi Nagar by Pawan Ice Cream, Rehari, By Pass Road, Channi and several others vicinities, when a common man finds it difficult to get permission for constructing only second story of residential house.

Manhas said that Rahul Gandhi has made it clear that no corrupt officials would be allowed to continue. Manhas citing examples of JMC Commissioner and chief town planner of creating mess in corporation by exercising corrupt practices said that through probe by authorities should be conducted in the affairs being run by officials.

Demanding attaching of property of tainted Bashir Ahmed teshildar who had been found allegedly involved in land scams, including temple land scam and Shanti Saroop Gupta ex- teshildar for his corrupt practices during his tenure and Hemant Sharma the then Director of CAPD, Manhas said that if these corrupt people are not taught a lesson it would be difficult to eradicate the menace of corruption.

Manhas lambasted PSO’s who are becoming threat to the law and order situation of the state by indulging in smuggling and corruption practices and asked for their removal with  immediate effect for large interest of police department and appointment of police constables on permanent basis, if required. Manhas appreciated work culture of former SSP Jammu and wished that newly appointed SSP Sh Anand Jain will also set an example by showing his dedication and commitment towards his job.
