AKRSP distributed relief goods among flood victims.

Aga Khan Rural Support Program (AKRSP) Chitral distributed relief goods among flood affected of Snoghur which was damaged by heavy flood in June, 2007 in a simple but prompt function at Booni. District Nazim Haji Maghfriat Shah was chief guest on the occasion. Addressing to the ceremony Engineer Sardar Ayub Regional Program Manager of AKRSP said that during the private tour of German Ambassador AKRSP briefed and requested him for financial support of rehabilitation of flood victims. Who approved 4135000 while Beyar Local Support Organization (BLSO) identified damaged house holds. Now AKRSP distributing relief goods among 20 house holds at first phase while among 100 families gradually. These goods containing G.I. Sheet 20 No, flour 3 bags, rice 2 bags, suger 15 KG , Tea 4 kg, ghee 15 KG, pulses 20 Kg, blanket 4, pillows 4 and mattresses 4 number per house hold.
District Nazim Chitral thanked German Ambassador for financial support. He said that Chitral is a natural calamity hit zone but we should to share our contribution and support each other. He said we have already demanded for 250 million funds for rehabilitation after 1st April disaster. He said we also arranged for 9 million funds for Rural Health Center of Booni and fulfillment of vacant posts of Doctors. He assured the masses for his full support and launching uplifts schemes in the district. He also demanded for re-opening of NADRA office at Booni. Shahzadar Sikandarul Mulk Tehsil Nazim Mastuj, Sardar Hussain Chairman BLSO also spoke on the occasion.
