All Chitral Pensioners Convention held. New body of defense personals detailed.

CHITRAL: Convention of all Chitral Pensioners association held here at Commerce College Chitral the other day which was participated in a large number by pensioners from both civil and defense forces. The pensioners stressed upon to streamline their organization for solving their problems. They demanded for establishment of military unit in Chitral as there is no Army Unit here. They also demanded for establishment of military hospital or Fouji foundation Hospital as well as other department of Fouji Foundation like Canteen Store Department (CSD). The speakers complained that Chitral has already include in Northern Areas but 25% NA allowance is not giving here to retired and serving officials. They discussed regarding strengthening their association and to came forward it for more benefits of retired personals. The participants thanks Wing commander Retired Fardad Ali shah for opening office for pensioners and they now getting their pension amount at their office instead to stand in long queue in front of National Bank.

Sub retired Khalil complained that doors of Chitral Scouts were closed for retired personals some retired people also complained that dead bodies of 7 Cops could not reached to their ancestral towns timely. And we retired people should to solve such matters in future. Sub retired Mehboob Alam explained that we have already a cabinet and elected body where Fardad Ali Shah is Chief Patron and I my self is president of that body. Hence Major ® Ahmad Saeed explained that the previous association comprises on all pensioners but we want to separate retired personal of defense force like Pak Army, Navy and Pakistan Air force as well as Chitral Scouts. A participant also requested for inclusion of police retired personals in present association. The present cabinet announced name of Col ® Sardar Muhammad as president and Sub ® Noor Hussain as Vice president hence they detailed committees on different union council level to elect their cabinet. The speakers declared it that this is totally non political non religious association working for benefit of retired personals of Chitral. They also demanded for 50% Quota for children of retired staff of Chital Scouts as will as in Army recruiting and on deputation to foreign countries. Col retired Sardar announced of rupees 10000 at initial stage for set up of new office and electing officer bearers of new association.
