Srinagar,, September 19 (Scoop News) – – The government today asked all the political parties to come forward and present their point of view before the All Party Delegation arriving here tomorrow from New Delhi.

This was stated by the Minister for Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs,  Ali Mohammad Sager while addressing the press conference here today. He said the political parties, NGOs, other organisations, lawyers, journalists, students and others who have received invitation for meeting the delegation should present their point of view eloquently as they have full mandate in this behalf.

Sagar said that the central government has also issued invitations both the Hurriyat factions and other connected with the problems. He said it is a welcome step that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, trade unions organizations, people connected with tourism, journalist fraternity and other leaders have been invited for discussion on the Kashmir problem.

Sagar said these organizations should contact Chief Secretary, Secretary Law and Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir who are coordinating the meetings should liase with them.

The Minister described the statement of PDP as concocted, baseless and figment of imagination that the government is sabotaging the All Party meet in the Valley.

The Minister appreciated Huriyat (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani for withdrawing his call of holding protest in front of Army Camps. Welcoming the step, the Minister said that it would positively save the precious lives on one hand and violence would come down on the other. He hoped that  Geelani would also meet the delegation to present his view point.

Sagar said National Conference in the CCS meeting held at New Delhi has already apprised its stand in the meeting and received support from those quarters which was not expected. He hoped that central government would initiate positive steps in this direction.

Replying to a question,  Sagar said the PDP only two days before attended All Party Meet at New Delhi and appreciated the same in their statements later. He said, now everybody is witness that the PDP has again taken U-turn for their petty interests. He further said that the PDP is desperate to regain power in the State and is using the precious blood of Kashmiri youth for the purpose.

Replying to another question,  Sagar said the State government is neither having any control over Army nor it has been deployed on their directions.        The Minister said, however, this does not justify the killings. He said the government has already for the first time constituted a Commission of Enquiry comprising two retired Judges.
