Aman ki asha music festival

Aman ki Asha a campaign for peace between India and Pakistan, initiated by the Media groups  such as Jang Group of Pakistan and The Times of India Group.

 Aman ki Asha aims  to create an enabling environment to facilitate dialogue between the governments, encourage people-to-people contacts and thus contribute to bringing about peace between India and Pakistan.

 Initiate seminars, official and unofficial contacts, dialogues with initiatives such as Music Festivals  to enable environment for dialogue .

 The 2^nd Aman ki Asha  Music Festival has been  organized at prominant locationssuch as  Dargah ajmer sharif(ajmer) , Purana Qila (Delhi),The chowk mohallah palace (Hyderabad) and The vastrapur Lake (Ahmedabad )

 The festival began on 12th February at the Ajmer sharif dargah with Performances by Fareed Ayaz group (Pakistan) and Munawwar Masoom (India) .

 At the second show on 13^th February singers Shafqat Amanat ali (Pakistan) and Shankar mahadevan (India) gave their memorable performances before the august Audiences at Delhi’s Purana Qila.

The festival resumes on 19^th at the Chowk mohalallah Palace, Hyderabad. sufi singers Sanam Marwi (Pakistan) and Rekha Bhardwaj will perform

 The current season of ‘Aman ki Asha’ Music festival is schedule to End at the Vastrapur lake,Ahmedabad with  performances  by  Strings (Pakistan ) and The Indian Ocean(India)

19^th February—Chow Mohallah Palace at Hyderabad: Sanam Marwi and Rekha Bhardawaj

20^th February –Vastrapur Lake At Ahmedabad : Strings and Indian Ocean
