After a few months of disgrace and shame, finally the famous Pakistani Cricketer, Amir Mahmood confirmed the secret connection with the famous bookie “Mazhar Majeed” in latest cricket news. Interestingly, he denied their engagement of “serious business” with Mazhar, or any of his associates regarding match fixing.

Amir also stated that he has not ever had some secret encounters with Mazhar, but it’s true that he has had familiarity with Mazhar for nearly a year. Still Amir is denying the accusations of mislaying the game for the sake of minting money by cricket betting and match fixing, whereas it’s proven that Amir along with Asif and Salman has been suspected of serious spot fixing in the recent English series.

After these prove everything was in thick and thin, and as a result Pakistan Cricket Board suspended these cricketers, right after the event, in the remaining matches.
Contrary to this event, Amir, Asif and Salman applied for the suspension which was turned down abruptly by the ICC just after a hearing in Dubai. Obviously, it was the result of the match fixing scam, which really turned down the international council.
Even these cricketers passed some rough remarks in retaliating the cricket’s ruling body. Definitely, such amateur accusation were showing their state of mind, as they blamed the ruling body of being biased and aiming at the players, just for their nationality.
After this event, Pakistan Cricket Board took powerful observe of this and hovering the centered agreements of the players and constrained them from utilising cricket board’s facilities. The head individual PCB, Mr. Ijaz Butt has been very clear from the day one that the players engaged in corruption will not obtain any possible support from PCB for getting their titles cleared.
Now Amir’s newest declaration in latest cricket news displays that these cricketers did have some connections with the supposed bookie “Mazhar Majeed”, which will be key point for the players, in their case contrary to the suspension.
Still, ICC is observing, whether the players should be allowed to take part in any of the international event or not, more or less spot fixing and cricket betting is putting a question mark on the future of the players.
