Srinagar, December 17, (Scoop News)- Strongly condemning the barbaric attack on a school in Peshawar that lead to killing of at least 124 people mostly children, Awami Mutahida Mahaz (AMM) leaders Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami and Hakim Mohammad Yaseen have said that no cause or reason can justify such a brutal and barbaric massacre.
In a statement issued here, the AMM leaders said that killing of innocent people is absolutely inhuman. “And when the target is small school going children the action reflects absolute insanity, sheer brutality and barbaric mindset of terrorists. No cause can justify a massacre of budding blooms. Killing innocent people especially the school going children is reprehensible and calls for cooperation among the regional countries of the sub continent to weed out terrorism and extremism that in any form is detrimental to the whole world.
The AMM leaders said that no words can substantiate their feeling of deep revulsion and anguish against this terror attack. “The terrorists have not killed just innocent children but the concept of humanity,” the AMM leaders remarked, while extending deepest condolences to the bereaved families who have lost their near and dear ones in the attack.
“This attack has crossed all the limits and is against all tenets of humanity. The attack is a manifestation of the extreme evil that terrorists are capable of. The world community especially the South Asian Countries must unite and redouble efforts to root out terrorism with its all offshoots from the region,” the AMM leaders stressed.
Meanwhile Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Youth Development Forum Farooq Ganderbali condemned the “criminal attack on school children in the strongest terms”. Ganderbali branded it “a senseless act of unspeakable brutality”. “It is a senseless act of unspeakable brutality that has claimed lives of the innocent of human beings – young children in their school.”
Ganderbali said the attack, one of the bloodiest in Pakistan in recent years, exposed the “real face of terrorism”.Expressing his condolence to the families of the terror attack victims. Ganderbali said our hearts goes out to the families of those children who were killed by the terrorists in Peshawar.This act is shameful and can’t be justified in any way.Pakistan must realise that as long as roots of terrorism are growing, Pak along with its nieghbours can not ensure security to its citizens.Ganderbali hailed the stand taken by Govt of India with regard this brutal attack and appreciated the GOI for showing the good ethic of neighbourhood.
