An Amazing Gift From A Holiday Camping Trip

People never know what a simple outing may bequeath to them and to drop off a fantastic souvenir they will never forget in a lifetime. I could not believe the report I was hearing on Fox News the other day about a 4-year-old boy who lived in Aliso Viejo in Orange County, California, who came home from a beach holiday with more than he had expected to find.

The young boy, Paul Franklin, had fallen and skinned his knee on some rocks while he was on the trip. His parents became concerned and worried as the injured leg became swollen and infected.

Three weeks passed and the knee had not healed, it had continued to remain swollen and it was hot to the touch. The boy’s mother decided she would try to squeeze the wound to see if something had gotten into the flesh when he fell; and as she squeezed it, a sea-snail popped out of the wound. I’m sure she was amazed that a young sea-snail was being hatched in that swollen knee and it wanted out.

The mother first thought it was a rock because it was a black object; and when she examined it more closely on a paper-towel, she turned it over and discovered it was a sea-snail; and she told everyone, “I just had to laugh!”

The sea-snail is now named Turbo and it is living in the families’ fish-tank. Isn’t this a fascinating happening, it’s one I’ll never forget, how about you?
