Andrew Colwell, 18, a recent graduate of Mansfield High School, was found shot in the head at the Edgewood Condominiums in Mansfield on Monday. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence where he was pronounced dead.
Police do not yet have any suspects in the case but have reason to believe that whoever shot Andrew Colwell knew him and does not pose a threat to the community. Police say there might be as many as three people involved in Andrew Colwell’s murder.
Police have exhaustively searched the area where Andrew Colwell was found and issued calls to over 900 homes informing local residents of the situation.
