FCPS Celebrates annual parents day.
CHITRAL: The Frontier Corps Public School (FCPS) Chitral celebrated annual parent’s day on the end of educational year 2010-11. Commandant Chitral Scouts Col. Haroon Rashid was chief guest on the occasion. The ceremony was inaugurated with the recitation from the Holy Quran by student of the school. Students of different class presented Naath Sharif and the participants stand in honor of National Anthem. Principal of FCPS Samad Gul welcome to distinguished guests and parents. Speaking on the occasion he said that main objective to celebrate annual parents day to keep close coordination between parents and their children as well as teachers so as to plan for their bright future in a triangular process. As well as to give an opportunity for performance to our students so as improve their confidence and became great national heroes in future. Students of junior classes presented culture show, dress show of our four provinces as well as students of middle and high classes presented a tablue in a best way to indicates stigma of drug addict in our society and to motivate the people to play role in eradicating of drug abuse from the society. Some girls and boys students presented national songs in a very rhetoric way and enthralled the participants. Some students presented Qawali, folk songs as well as cultural show of Chitrali folk music and of four provinces were also presented for strengthening of mutual harmony. At last commandant Chitral Scouts distributed awards among the successful students. Addressing on the occasion he said that FCPS play vital role in rendering quality education and also encourage students in extra curriculum activities. He stressed upon the students to must read and became great persons to serve the country and nation. He said that students of Chitral having rich potential but it need of polishing and encouragement to come forward and play their role. He announced for upgrading this school to college level. A large number of civil and military, police officers, parents and teachers attended this colorful event. Besides other District Police Officer Haji Abdul Rashid also attended this colorful event.
