Ending the month of February with an exciting fight between two undefeated fighters is just sensational. Another talented Filipino boxer, Marvin "Marvelous" Sonsona will do everything for the gold as he will face Wilfredo “WV2” Vazquez, Jr. of Puerto Rico for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior featherweight title. Vazquez, Jr. will step in the ring with an impressive stats of 17W-0L-1D with 14KOs; while Sonsona will try to elevate his own 14W-0L-1D with 12KOs. The event will be held at the Ruben Rodriquez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on the 28th of February.
Vazquez, Jr., the son of 2-time world champion Wilfredo Vazquez, Sr., plans to make history as he will be the first son of a Puerto Rican boxing champion to win a world title. Well, that is if he wins. On the other hand, if Sonsona will be victorious then he will be the youngest Filipino to win two world titles in two different weight divisions.
Well, will this fight be like the historical "Undefeated" match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ricky Hatton last 2007?
