This is about anxiety and the feelings of doom and gloom that strike people young and old. It includes feelings of panic and also feels like we are about to die but we don’t know why. And we must pace the room, or cry or act in an erratic way. We know that we just cannot sit still and public places are the worst for us.
Anxiety is often the reason that parents decide to medicate their children at an early age. And doctors are assured of quick and easy profits and the money to help pay for that fancy car, and that house on the hill. American doctors love to medicate as a way of treatment. American doctors treat the symptoms but do not treat the underlying causes of illness. Of course it is a planned approach to treatment because to heal the patient is to take food from the mouths of a doctors children.
Magnesium is one of the most under rated over the counter supplements on the market. Magnesium intake is necessary to maintain a healthy life. When anxiety, and panic attacks are constant and we find no relief from other sources then it may be time to consider magnesium supplements. I would start by taking 250 mg., of magnesium twice a day to treat anxiety. And along with the 250 mg., of magnesium it is suggested to take 75 mg. of vitamin C to promote adequate absorption of the supplements. Because I read that in order for magnesium to be absorbed into the blood stream an acidic stomach is necessary and for that we go to Vitamin C.
For acute conditions of anxiety a strict therapy must be put into motion and the length of time will be long, but the results are very surprising and after many months of living with this therapy a day will arrive when you find yourself no longer using it. No, it is not a cure, but when you no longer feel a need for the therapy it means that you have achieved a level of balance.
Anxiety is not fun, and those panic attacks can strike anywhere and without notice. For such cases when a panic attacks should strike then I would suggest that as a remedy the person be encouraged to breathe deep and hold their breath. Deep breathing will often stop a panic attack in its’ tracks. But then I would go ahead and take a dose of magnesium with a vitamin C pill.
