APD group paid obsience at Hazratbal Shrine, prayed for lasting peace in Kashmir

Srinagar, September 21 (Scoop News) – A group of All Party Parliamentary Delegation today went to the revered Hazratbal Shrine and paid obeisance there. They prayed for lasting peace in the valley and overall welfare of the Country. They also interacted with some people at Hazratbal. The group include s. Sushma Swaraj, Sita Ram Yachuri,  Ram Vilas Paswan, Shahid Siddiqui, and , Gurudas Gupta.

Later, the group also visited some injured persons  at SMH Hospital, Srinagar and enquired about their well being.

The All Party Delegation, led by the Union Home Minister,  P. Chidambaram, had consultations with the Jammu and Kashmir Governor,  N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan here last evening. The discussions, lasting for over an hour, covered various issues relating to the obtaining situation in the State.

            The Governor also hosted dinner for the visiting All Party Delegation.
